Just to add to my last entry:
All of my J4 sites bring up the Error 500 page and none of them save any logs into the administrator/logs folder. There is no "everything.php" file. The configuration.php files is correct with the debug=true, error_reporting = 'maximum' and log_everything=1. I have tried this on every site. Same result. On the error 500 page, there is one line on the screen saying "UnsupportedAdapterException".
Probably best stick to PHP8.1, except that it's sure to reach end of life and still the J4 issues won't be resolved.
